Making Food Game

Making Food Task

For the making food task, the first thought that came to mind was to prove diverse food. I did a research about this which led me to find on youtube several videos that showcase people trying food they are not familiar with and sharing their impressions. One of my favourites was the "Pringles Challenge." In this video, two kids tried 20 different flavours of Pringles while blindfolded. They had to guess which flavour it was. I believe this activity could prompt children to express what they think about a certain flavour and what it makes them feel.

Make a fruit salad game

I decided to slightly change this activity making it with fruits instead. Children would be divided into to teams and each team would have to make a fruit salad by the end of the sessions. The first part of this activity, however, would be similar to the Pringle's challenge: make children taste a fruit's flavour (they won't be able to see it), describe what it feels like out loud and then, try to guess the correct name of the fruit.

If they are correct, then their team would win a point and they could keep the fruit, so they can make a fruit salad together with all the fruits they managed to collect.
